Do you have an upcoming birthday or celebration that you would like to share with us?

At Pashas we have a very special area that you can share with your friends and loved ones and spend a great evening celebrating your special occasion.

While it sounds spooky, our cave room is anything but gloomy. With soft lighting, ample seating and set away from the main dining area, the cave room gives you privacy and the opportunity to let your hair down. With plenty of seating for the biggest parties, you can arrange a special menu or make your choice from the range of buffets and a la carte items available.

Bookings are essential, especially if you have a big party as the cave room is always popular.

Traditional turkish cuisine is all about fresh ingredients, simple flavours and a good dose of generosity but at Pasha’s we like to add a little local influence as well.

While many items are traditionally cooked slowly, sometimes we think it goes a tad too far. We like a lightness of touch that Australian kitchens favour, which is why we flash fry our seafood, cook our kebabs to order and hand-make our dolmas until they are just cooked but without losing colour or shape.

Then again, there are some notable exceptions, especially when it comes to our two signature dishes, the slow cooked favourites. And by slow-cooked we really mean it – our lamb is slow cooked overnight for at least ten hours.

Our Guvec (10 hour slow cooked lamb) is gently spiced and cooked in a handmade roasted capsicum sauceuntil it is meltingly tender. If that doesn’t rock your world, try our favourite dish on the menu, Hunkar Begendi, pictured above. Made with smoked eggplant and a generous splash of béchamel sauce, this dish is not only fit for a sultan, it’s the perfect mid-winter’s meal.

Enjoy our slow cooked dishes the next time you dine with us.
